Thanks, Ramon. Any idea what the difference is between Cooper AT3 and Mastercraft? Are they the same tire?

Depends on your local DD. Last time around some people on Slickdeals were getting locals to match. Just depends. Even if they do though, then you have to pay tax buying from a local store

little bummed as my 'deal' for Nitto's at $704 from DTD (including 100 discount) doesn't look as good as the $688 I just found on eBay from a different seller. Close. EIther one is a deal when compared to the normal price.

Did you separate into two separate orders of 2 tires each and use the code twice?

I should have done that... but if I did, I wouldn't have been eligible for the Nitto rebate ($70)... imagine how much money I would have made in the stock market had I saved that extra $30 and invested it....

You can still get the Nitto rebate buying them as two separate purchases. After I bought my tires last night as two separate orders, I received an emailed invoice this morning that had all 4 tires listed as if I had bought them in one purchase. I did this same this last year where I did three orders: 2 with 2 tires each and 1 with 4 wheels. Got $300 off and $70 MIR as well.

Try calling them to see if there's some way to hook you up: 1-800-459-4081

Well this incentivized me to jump on some 285/70/17 nitto trail grapplers. Broke it up into two separate orders, $386 each for a total of $772, hopefully nittos $70 manufacturer rebate will apply putting them at my door for $702, or just over $175 a tire for a tire that normally runs $243 a tire. I simply could not pass this up. New tires weren't exactly in my budget at the moment but I was able to use PayPal credit to get 6 month interest free no monthly payment, so as long as I don't screw up I'm good and made out like a bandit!

Do any of you know it this a thing they do every once in a while? I would love to jump on it but @ramonortiz55 and his suspension GB have me saving my $$ for that. :(

incase anyone is wondering, if you buy two sets of two tires discount tire will send you an invoice of 4 tires purchased at once, allowing you to take advantage of manufacturer rebates on sets of 4

I wish Hankook had an additional rebate to make my decision easier.

Well, apparently the coupon is actually $50 from eBay and $50 from DTD. I called DTD and they said they WILL hold up their end of the deal and give me $50... their rep is actually going to talk to eBay/Paypal as we speak to see if eBay will hold up their end and give me their $50. To be determined...

In the end, it was my fault for not having purchased them separately, but IMO, they should be able to make it right since I'm not asking for anything extreme.

Side note - the tires arrived the very next business day, which is nuts. Props to DTD for that. UPS messed up delivery and only 3 of the 4 arrived. The 4th got caught up in some UPS hub over the weekend.

Yeah they tried to make it right. I can't say enough good things about DTD.

Unfortunately, only DTD will give the $50. I need to call eBay directly to try to fight for the other $50. I (and DTD) doubts they'll pay. I won't be heartbroken if they don't, but it'd be nice, haha.
