100 pound All Pro bumper....Will you need to upgrade front suspension?

    Just joined the group buy on the All Pro bumper for a 2nd gen taco. My question to anyone out there who has put on a front bumper that weighs around 100lbs is.....will this thing be to much for stock suspension? By that I mean will it greatly increase then front end bottoming out, or will it damage cv joints, ball joints ect by adding more weight.

    Any info much appreciated
    BTW, I have a 2006 TRD 4.0 with access cab

    AFE pro dry s, Husky X-act Contour
    You need new suspension and what would work well would be an OME 886 kit with shocks

    OME suspension, All-Pro UCA, rear locker, 4.56 gears front and rear diffs, rear dif locker, 32x11.5 BF Goodrich Mud Terrians KM2, 15x8 Mickey Thompson classic lock, ARB bumper, K&N Air filter. Safari Snorkel.
    ya def a new suspension. I have a ARB with no winch and a V6, had to change 2 times my springs and shocks and its still saggining...not satisfied.

    have a 1st gen taco, put a 881 on then switched to 882s, and still sagging.

    When running the OME springs running their shocks as well is nice because they are valved for use with their shocks

    ummm. its saggin pretty good, to stock height or lower, i was thinking putting spacers but not sure

    Thanks for the info. I was a little hesitant to put an extra 100+ pounds on the front end that originally wasnt supposed to be there, now I'm very hesitant. I dont have a ton of money or I would definately upgrade my front suspension to compensate for the extra weight. Plus these bumpers look awesome!!!!
    But after wanting to get rid of that POS plastic bumper cover, I think that its gonna work out better for me to suck it up and keep the plastic:eek:
