Have an engine stop burning oil.

Cant figure it out. At about 100K it stopped burning. Pretty much everything is the same. Same oil (mobil 5/30 synthetic), Toyota filter same driving style, same gas. It burned about 1 liter/5000K. Now nothing that is noticeable on the dip-stick.

    Finally broken it in?

Either way i am not complaining but i thought it interesting. Ive had bikes stop burning small amounts of oil after about 10K and others burn after 100K.

Anyone seen this before. Not a big deal just curious

My civic was the same way. When I bought it (@94k) the thing needed a quart every 250 miles. When I sold it (173k) I could usually go 1500-2000 miles depending on conditions before it needed that quart.

I've never had a vehicle that burned any notable amount of oil.

Tacoma, Tundra, and Duramax used nothing.
Wife's '04 Rav4 has lost close to a quart every 5k for a couple of years.
