I have 102k miles on my truck and I love it. I want to put a complete OME kit on it but Im wondering if it is has too many miles to actually start this process? I know these trucks last a while but I would like to hear other opinions. Thanks! By the way it's a 07 dcsb v6

You've got 200k more. I'd say you're good to go.

I lifted my 2006 at 220k miles and now have 347k miles. Wish I had done it earlier, but I was thinking it was "too late" and delayed about 120k miles and missed all that fun.

Mods are a small price to pay to keep us smiling ever time we get behind the wheel of our trucks. I feel like my truck is like a fine wine and is getting better with age.

Better to spend the money on mods than waste the money on a new truck.

70,000 miles and have spent about 4000.00 in the last two weeks. I am also trying to work out a deal with a local tacoma owner who is thinking of selling his truck. And by working out a deal I mean buying his supercharger :)

Heck no, thats not too many miles. I lifted my old 2005 at 99,000. Just get some replacement rear leaf packs and a good setup on the front and you'll be good to go. Do be aware that if you lift it with that mileage, you may see a wheel bearing go quicker if its already going bad (like i did), but thats not really a big deal.

I started at 150 km. At 225 now. Don't regret it one bit.

I put the lift on my truck around 80k, and I was extremely skeptical about doing it. And to top that off I put brand new wheels and tires on at 89k, and I just knew my rotors were going to warp (i.e. fall off). And to top that off again I put a used s/c (i.e. supercharger) with over 150k on it at 92k. I'm at 94k miles now and I'm absolutely terrified to get into my truck now. I'm afraid it will self destruct when I turn the ignition on. I would like to hear everyone else opinion on this and I would like to know what y'all have done around the 100k mark.

Bought my 05 with 150k and lifted with new tires and mods and now have 175k. Just make sure to check parts frequently. Just crawl under and have a little fun getting a little grease on your hands. Maintenance is key.

Unless you have a warranty on it go for it. I have 57k on an 06 I bought in September and it has a 4yr 50k mile bumper to bumper warranty so I won't be lifting it until after 100k on the odometer. I figure right around 100k I will take it in and get anything and everything I can replaced since I would only have to pay $50. Then lift it and enjoy another 200k miles on it.
