106 mph fuel cut governer removal DIY

    FMMV, but my 2001 5vz has a SP1 wire (Green/orange) that goes from the speedo to the ECU. If interrupted or otherwise cut, it'll allow fuel past the factory governed 106 mph. The speedo still works while it's cut, but you'll throw a po500. Nothing seems to operate any differently though. I ran with the wire cut for a couple weeks until I got around to throwing this switch in there. So disable for track day, enable for DD.

    My tires are 10% smaller than stock so my speedo reads fast, reaching fuel cut before the 1000' or 1320' mark.
