Ok, so use the oil in the repair manual or filler cap, no?

I’ve never seen that TSB. But I can confirm that my 1GR had run on 5w-20, 5w-30 and 10w-30
I don’t live where it gets extremely cold.

I kind of go by, I would rather have some of the wrong type, that none of the right type.
I’m not Mechanic, but in my experience, I’ve seen more damage done by lack of lubrication and maintenance, then the wrong oil type.

I don’t have an opinion of what one “should” use. I typically recommend what ever the manual or oil cap says, if I have to go give an opinion.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
I run 10w-30 in old clutch now. She was burning a little oil with 5w-30 old man suggested I try 10w-30. It seems to have fixed the slow burn off. But at 300k who really gives a shit right? Truck runs like a turkey on Thanksgiving.

oh, and while I'm here. I just fixed it's CD player.
