    Yeah, we were camping at Fish Creek, just dirt and rocks, last Feb., and got a fire ticket because we used a rock fire ring, not a metal fire ring. stupid flamable rocks got us a ticket.
    I still think 'entrapment' the rock ring was already there waiting for someone to use it haha

    I have one of these now and was gonna bring it. Not camping but planning on staying to roast some hot dogs and marshmallows

    @Rakso Im not even promising that what I bought is legal, depending on the area. In our specific situation, we had to have been using the metal ring that belonged to the campsite, so my Amazon Pit still would not have saved @mynameismudflap and I at Fish Creek.
