    It was not. It was the first steering wheel I've taken off so I was also a little hesitant. There aren't many videos online for the 2nd gen wheel but it is pretty straight forward. You will need a T-30 torx bit to remove the airbag retaining screws on each side of the wheel behind the plastic panels and a 19mm socket to remove the nut holding the wheel on. Otherwise, be sure to disconnect your battery or your horn will become annoying. Everything else is just unplugging.

    Ah no worries, there will always be Scion wheels around. And yes, everything to install was identical.
