You dont need to see the invoice. What ever is msrp is minus any add on's, pay that OTD and you will be getting a fair deal.

Damn some of you guys are getting killer deals on Trucks. I have never bought new but I am currently looking and if I could get a auto OR 4X4 CCSB for under 30K I would go that route.

I had the 6 speed on my 2006. Dumped it for an auto 2008. I couldn't be happier. Unless you're driving a sports car, shifting by hand is overrated. Plus, the auto gets better fuel economy.

I too want a stick. I prefer it for daily driving. Also will be towing quite a bit and assume there's a bit less power loss through the manual than the auto. That being said I haven't drive one of the 6 speeds. Is it really that bad?

I paid $28,500 last year for my 2010 DC LB TRD Sports 4x4. You should be able to get that truck for less than 30k. Especially right now with the 2012 coming out.

To the person that said to buy use, it's really not worth buying a Tacoma used. When I was looking in 2010, 2005 Tacomas 4x4s with decent mileage were going for 20-22k. 2007 and 2008 trucks were going for 26-27K.

These trucks holds their prices very well. I say shop around and wait it out. With the 2012 coming, the 2011s should be dropping in prices for dealers to get rid of inventory.

If the dealers in your area are being turds, look for a reputable auto broker. I got my new Tacoma under invoice...the dealer wouldn't sell it to me for that. The best part was when the broker took it off the lot and I went back in with it later to get some D ring in parts. Classic.

Go there and look at the actual dealer cost, invoice, and MSRP. Do NOT pay MSRP. The dealer smells an easy sale in you and is trying to force you into it. Stop, breath, and think. It will save you money!
