110v bed outlet

    I believe the outlet comes with the towing package that includes the 130amp alternator.

    I have a 2006 SR5 4x4 with the towing package and it did come with it - at least not in that model year.

    Interesting, I could be wrong since I'm just going off what my dealer's sales guy said. Either that or maybe that's how they have the options lined up now?

    But can it be added as an aftermarket OEM item? Often, the mfg will prewire every vehicle as it's easier and cheaper that way.....

    Yes, I read it Krookz......but I like the look of the OEM outlet....

    I don't plan to run any high amp tools on it...just lights, radio, beer chest cooler, etc.

    I did some research a while back on adding the outlet. I was able to find the part number for the outlet and the smaller storage bin. It was extremely expensive. I decided that if I was going to do the mod, I would just put an outdoor outlet in the existing storage bin, and then run some wire to a standard inverter.
