Good to know about the wheels and as for the spindals I had a feeling that was the case. Otherwise everyone would have them.

Thanks for the info. I will most likely do some wheeling for a little with my stock setup and if this hobby develops into the passion that I think it will I will upgrade everything to the full 3" aftermarket lift. Mine is about 2" on the stock baja so With a mid travel aftermarket upgrade and bigger tires it will be noticeably different. I hope!

And FYI I received my aftermarket bumper from Tyler at Prelfrybilt today. I have it getting sprayed with Line-X Right now and will be installing it next Wednesday. :D

VERY NICE!!!! Ya you and I are in the same boat. I also have the Baja. I spent the extra money so I wouldn't have to upgrade, and like you stated if it becomes a passion and I am out every weekend wheeling then I'll think about switching out the suspension. For now its more than enough. Just want to get some TC UCA's and call it for a bit as far as the suspension is concerned. What I really want to know if the Baja can fit 285-75-16's without to much rubbing/trimming

Definitely going to need a Cab Mount Chop and some trimming. Hopefully that is it. When are you thinking about getting them?

Well I only have 10k miles at the moment, so I was thinking about getting them when its time for new tires. Ya I figured the cab mount chop, which I will have Tyler take care of. I am not sure how long these tires last...

My brother's 07 Special Edition FJ got 80,000K on his first set. They were 265/75/16 BFG AT. It is my understanding that he was on the high side of what is expected.

I will be watching this thread very closely since I am in the same boat too. But with my budget I will go with Fox instead of Kings. I wouldnt mind the RCD 4" lift since you dont lose too much clearance, but I dont want to cut anything and I want to keep my stock 16" wheels.
Cant wait to see it all together!
