Will I rub with -12 offset? My current tire set up is 285/70R17, talk to the guy where I am going to buy my wheels and he said he does not recommend -12 because I might have rubbing issues. My truck has a 2 inch level kit, what do you guys think?

    Cab mount chop

    cost anywhere from 200-300$

Moves the cab mount back a little to prevent rubbing against the cab. Also if you have a shop do it have them trim the front of the fender maybe a inch.

    As a reference point, I have 265/70R17 on a -6ET.

I am seeing some rubbing on the stock mud flaps on the front going over curbs while turning. Not even full lock. I still need to try giving them a trim.

285/70R-17 KO2 tires on 4.75 backspace (6 offset) wheels with a 2" lift. Minutely trimmed to avoid any rubbing even when off-roading.

Go with your wheel guy's recommendation and make sure he will swap out wheels if what is recommended does not work to your satisfaction.

I run -12 285/70/17. I did the CMC, so I can't say for sure you'll rub there, but I still rub a little in reverse at times. Cut a little plastic up front as well.
