Just wanted to double check... I'm assuming the 12s have totally identical setup to earlier 2nd gen tacos, and will be ordering brake upgrades today for cross drilled and slotted rotors. Just wanted to make sure they are the same parts. I can't imagine they would be different. Please let me know as I am camping and would need to order them today. 20% off black anodized cross drilled and slotted rotors :)

Same size as previous years. You'd be better off with blanks from Brembo or Centric.

I have ran the same rotors on all my cars, and braking was much improved. IRotors.com labor day sale 20% off coupon code labor.

If your other car is that R8 in your profile, that would make sense... Big difference between a high performance car and a truck.

My other cars are all Hondas for the most part, and also had them on my girls Lexus LS400. Night and day difference in stopping. And my main use for my truck is towing my boat and I don't have trailer brakes for 4500lbs. A lil more bite would be nice.

Just a suggestion but, how about you put brakes on the trailer so it's legal to be on the road? A 4,500 lb trailer with no brakes behind the Tacoma is just begging for an accident.

I'd still go for blanks and better pads. SS brake lines are a nice improvement also but they're still not a replacement for having a trailer set up properly with brakes.
