    Very true. Around here plowing over sagebrush or snow is my biggest problems. Or the center of muddy ruts left by guys on 38s +.

    I think I'm likely going to just make my new crossmember as my winch Mount, so it's as tight to the rad as possible, then build a prerunner style bumper with removable front plates for winch access if I need it. Bumper will be welded directly to the frame. Cutting the mounts right off most likely.

    In everyone’s professional(ish) opinion how much clearance do you need from the Aarm/spindle gusset from the tire?

    Yes

    But in all seriousness the tire should not shrink or grow at the spot people have clearance issues with the spindle. So if there is any clearance you should be good. Personally I would like to see at least 1/4” though

    That’s kinda what I was thinking. As long as I don’t put some ungodly amount of air in it, it shouldn’t really move. I’ve got 3/8ish + so should be good

    Definitely need a little more height. Not decided how I’m going to do it. Hoping with a 2” fender trim everything will clear. We will see...
    And they are just swamper knockoffs. Swampers were 90 days out and about 450 more for the set so I figured I would give these a try

    You know you guys are a bad influence. Looks like I’m going to be doing a little more trimming than I thought. These acceleras run a true 35”+, rubbing pretty hard at the front of the wheel well. So it’s either step back a tire size or cut up the sheet metal

    Ya waiting to get my 4Runner sold to see about the fender liners. For the others did you just cut out and weld in a piece of sheet metal? Did you go all the way to the battery tray?
    I thought about cutting along the seam and folding stock sheet metal over each other and welding it back together. also @81Trekker what did you do with the washer fluid reservoir?
