The 12 volt outlet in the front cab and back seat are out. Checked the 15 amp fuses in the engine compartment on both the driver and passenger side and they are not blown. Any ideas?

Did you verify whatever you are plugging in there works elsewhere?

Yes. I also have a custom installed 12 volt in the bed and that works just fine. Checked the p1 and p2 fuses, which are 20 amp and they are good.

This just occurred to me but I haven't had time to check fuses yet. On Sunday I used truck bed outlet to run a small air pump. It did not work yesterday but the pump worked in my friend's vehicle. I'll try to remember checking back after I dig deeper.

Define checking fuses. Was it a visual inspection or were they swapped with new, or were they tested against a multimeter?

I say that because I've found that visual inspections can on rare occasion be deceiving. (And many people define checking fuses as pulling them and looking at them)

The fuses for those outlets are under the dash on the passenger side.

Wow, have to remove that plastic plate by air outlet and LED and then a third fuse panel?

Yep. It's not too hard to pop off (it's under the glovebox) a little tricky to get the tabs lined up when putting it back on.

Edit: I suppose it could be different for an SR5 so you might want to check the manual first.

PS: there's one under the rear seat too (for non-hybrids at least).

Thanks! I took it in today because we checked the engine compartment ones while on vacation. We took it to one dealership who didn't know where the fuses were while travelling, but said they were all in the engine compartment, so we looked at all those and they were fine. It must've been this one.

The dealership while travelling said they didn't know where it was located. We called a second one that was an hour away and they said they couldn't help, so waited until we got back home. It's fixed now. We tried to talk to the mechanic that did the work, but they were already gone for the day and the service desk couldn't tell us which one or where, so it had to be the ones under the glove box.Now we know!
