Hi, I have an 06 2WD Mostly stock as its my daily as well, I put a locker in it so I could get further off road.
I am going to weld up a set of sliders that I would like to bolt on so I can remove them when not camping.
My intention is not to rock crawl or need to pivot off or around something. I just want some extra protection for the body in case I slide into a rut or hit a rock that is deeper/higher than I thought.
So can I get away with 1/8th x 2 Inch squared tubing or do I need to stick to 3/16th x 2"?
Also anyone know of any post the point out the best place to bolt through the frame?
