    I'd take it to a fab shop bro. And no curves unless you're gusseting the curves. Right angles are your hero here you want rigidity in a cage.

    Quit trying to nickle and dime this lol, a cage is no joke! Do it right! And...and...AND! If youre getting a cage done, have it built with LT in mind, so have shock mounts and bump spots prepped so whenever you finally (FINALLY) get LT you can bolt it right up with like 10" or 12" shocks and bumps

    Jesus christ dude. You really think I'm trying to nickel and dime an engine cage? Um no. The curves are because it's a drawing! I can't do it to proportion or to CAD scale obviously for obvious reasons. I would have a fabricator do this shit for me.

    No fucking LT. Get that word out of your vocabulary with me because you might as well be falling on deaf ears with that right now. Unless of course you want to pay for all the necessary parts required for LT for me, if not... you have no say here. :D

    I already know what design I have in mind for the front and rear. I have sent a pic to Jerry to see if he has any suggestions or anything to add to it.

    The thing is, I never said I will not go LT. I said that as of right now. There are no current plans to go LT on this truck. Big difference between the two.

    Been a while, I have been busy with work and all the associated bs that is adult life. Anyways, in my time doing so, my amplifier fried and I was forced to change out the stock OE headunit as volume no longer worked since it is controlled by the amp on the JBL equipped Taco's. This was a long ordeal, but I am very happy to have all of my functions back and much crisp and clearer sound than I ever did with the JBL headunit and amp. I am very pleased with my Pioneer AVIC8000NEX. I sure do have a whole lot of respect for the intricate network of wiring involved that makes the stock units work, the proprietary connectors are what kicked my ass, and the only thing I ended up being forced to replace was the stock bluetooth microphone. I got to keep and managed to make my OE backup cam work with this and I spliced into the XM sharkfin as well. I learned a lot, but I am hopeful and confident to say this mod is behind me, at last.

    I just don't want to drop all that coin on it right now is all. I'm also afraid of losing my turning radius, as it has been mentioned with some of the kits since I daily drive the hell out of this thing.

    June 5th-6th? Let me put in for time off and let me see if I can make that happen. There are no holiday's occurring around that time right? I'll see if I could bring some buddies too and make it a half ass wheeling trip deal. Lol.

    The only time you lose out on turning radius is if you go with the fabbed spindles with horizontal uniballs. The standard kits like TC and Camburg keep the same turning radius.

    That's also what I hear, which makes sense. I almost did it when I bought my DK arms, but then he was talking 8" coilovers, and steering rack extensions (not a big deal) and longer CV shafts. Then I was like… eh.. my time down, plus all the extra involved to make that happen… I'll stick to mid travel and have my fun with that until I am comfortable enough and ready to step up.
