Last week I was driving and plugged my phone into the 12v cig to usb. My dash light up with all the lights VSC, ABS, parking brake, and traction control lights. My buddy and I pulled the codes from the computer and got: C0226, 236,246,256, and I think a 1223. I drove up and down the block and all 4 wheel speed sensors were accurate.

Today, I had the headlights on in the rain plugged my phone to see the lights on my dash and nothing. When I turn the headlights off the warning lights appear instantly. VSC, ABS, parking brake, and traction control.

    Ideas?

My son has a very simular issue with his 05 scion. Intermittant VSC, anti lock light in cold weather on start up, goes away e.ventually at warm up. He was reading there is commonly a diode in the dash that goes bad. Haven't dug into it further.

Have you tried a different adapter?

If it indeed only happens when the phone charger is plugged in the only thing that kind of makes sense is if the adapter itself is putting out some kind of interference.
