The same shit everyone else has.
I have a single blue sea 12v socket inside that cubby.

The hole is drilled the side closest to the 120v plug so the open side of the socket faces the front of the truck. More than enough room on that side. Which inside wall of the cubby do you plan on mounting them into?

Hey, folks with wiring skills, how do I add a switch for some led bedlights if I wanted to tie onto the same circuit?

The switch would be installed right in the middle of the panel.

I would want the bed lights to power on and off independent of other stuff in the panel save the on/off switch in the lower left corner.

cut out the bed cubby with a Dremel and mounted the switches using 4 screws that came with the plate.

still need to run a lead from the battery to finish this.

I only have one for my fridge in that same spot. Make sure you really protect the rear of that. One winter of salty roads corroded mine enough (and I tried sealing it will hot glue) that it completely fell apart a few months later.

This is good advice, thanks. I just have some heat shrink on there but given that it's pretty exposed in the wheelwell there I will add a solid tape job.

Yep. Exactly. I order some "weather proof" ones. We'll see how those go.

Mounting it inside of a plastic projects box from a hobby store would work, seal it up and just run the wires. It would still leave plenty of room in the cubby.
