12v Source When In Reverse?

Hi,

Need help locating a 12v source when in reverse. Installing an aftermarket camera and monitor.

I have the camera all hooked up. Now I just need to test the monitor to make sure it works and then find a permanent spot for it.

For a 2007 DC V6 4x4.

 

I have a set of backup sensors wired up, I used the reverse bulbs as the trigger for the sensor system.

 

Well on the camera I bought, it only has 3 wires. 1 for the AV. 1 pos and 1 neg. Tapped into the reverse bulb for the +/-. But my monitor has a separate trigger wire.


This wasn't a bundle package. I bought both separately.


Maybe I'll just wire the monitor hot so it's always on. Much easier finding that in the dash....
