    Need some help on this……
    2000 Tacoma trd
    33” tires(10.50) c rated
    V6

    Mpg’s are 13-14 range
    Did a tune up
    Spark plugs
    Oil change
    Fuel filter
    Truck runs great
Just seems it shouldn’t be this bad because of tires?

I’m asking for opinions on this.

^Are you accounting for the larger tire size in fuel economy calculations? What's the stock size on the doorjamb label?

Any brakes dragging? (Feel the hub area after a long drive and see if any wheel is hotter than others.)

You can also plug in a scan tool with live data and verify the engine isn't running too rich (ST and LT fuel trims showing above +10% too often).

When was the last time the front and rear diff fluids were changed?

Honestly, it's a 20+ year old truck. Drive it like there is an egg between the pedal and your shoe and you'll see an improvement. I stopped caring about MPG with the tacoma a long time ago. It is what it is.

Take into account how much added weight is on the truck as well. Mods, gear, it all adds up and impacts MPG.

    Have not changed diff fluid.
    Need to do that.
I feel like it may be rich,
I did change the mas and both o2se sensors.
Ask in rear and tool box and 5100’s ,
Not a whole lot of weight.
