    None, just got from dealer
I have some rattle-like noises apparently coming from underneat the passenger seat in my 13 taco 4x as well. It only sounds in uneven terrain and off-road. The seat looks fine and all the bolts holding it to the cabin floor look tight and ok.
It is driving me crazy indeed!!, so any help would be much appreciated.

I noticed some rattles in the front of the dash near the windshield when I offroad. It's actually the windshield vibrating on the dashboard.

You might want to take it into the dealership, show them what is going on. 2013's are not supposed to rattle. It's still under warranty.

What I'm talking about is going down washboard roads...not a city street. Don't know about OP...

I fixed the rattle. It only rattled on cold mornings, driving over reflectors or bumps, it was coming from the center dash by the windshield.
I took a 3/4 thick piece of hard rubber and cut into a triangle with 1 1/2" sides, then pushed down between the window and dash right in the center, make sure its really snug and down enough so you don't notice it. It took me a few tries and different sizes to get a good fit.

I really didn't want to dealer to pull the dash out, who know what else would rattle after they pulled it apart.

Mine seems to come from the passenger side of the dash, specifically the left side of the glove compartment area, where there's also a vent.

It rattles when I turn, not speed dependent, and sometimes when I stop or start at intersections. It sounds like a tire valve cap in a cup holder, rolling from side to side.

To me as the driver, it sounded like it was coming from all over the passenger side -- the door, under the seats, in the glove box. But a passenger identified the location described above after just a few minutes of driving around a parking lot.

It goes away sometimes. It never rattles just going down the road. It has nothing at all to do with the fan. Everything works fine.

The dealer has looked at it and didn't find the problem. They cleaned a lot of leafy stuff out of the air intakes and the rattle continued. I've taken everything out of every cup holder, cubby, console, and the glovebox -- no change in the rattle.

I suspect (a) some small object fell into the air circulation ducts, or (b) a piece fell off of something inside a duct or fan housing. I don't know how to get it out, though. As luvium said, dismantling the dash might just introduce more rattles.

For those hearing rattles around your glovebox area, check the cables/wires underneath it. They sometimes bump eachother or hit the panels. I had rattles around there and a few extra zip ties to the cables got rid of them.

Mine just started a couple days ago. If I press hard on the center of the dash, near the windshield, it goes away.

I'll try putting a piece of foam in there and report back.

    Rattles suck!!!

Old thread, but mine just started this about month ago it's it's driving me nuts. I put a 1/8" thick piece of neoprene between the dash and windshield and it stopped for about 3 days, but it's back now.. I may just need a thicker piece of rubber though.

Has anyone been able to find the actual source and fix it permanently? Mine is coming from the center of the dash right around the defroster vent.

Just had my 2013 in the shop for a dash rattle, took them all day but they finally found one of the heater ducts was the source of the rattles. They installed some extra insulation around this duct, and secured it all in place, and no more rattles. Well at least so far.......

I wonder if that's what mine is.. If I press on the dash right next to the defroster vent, the rattle stops. I was thinking maybe it was the vent rattling against the actual duct.

I used two strips of 1/4" thick x 3/4" wide x 12" long neoprene. The rattle has been long gone.

Maybe I'll try that. Where'd you get the strips from?

It's the stuff that I use for my tailgate caps. I've got piles of it. Order a cap and I'll throw some extra in the box
