Awesome looking truck!! I've seen you around town!! Looks great.

I know I'm touching on an old subject here...but I happened upon this thread while reading through the "Because Baja" thread...was it ever settled as to what the spring rate is on the Baja coils? Is it 650?

I have the Baja but I'm thinking about putting an AllPro bumper on the front and that thing weighs 132lbs...I don't want the front to sag and look ridiculous.

    Hey, thanks. I haven't spotted any Baja's around...lol.

I never found out what the actual spring rate was. But there is another guy on here with a Baja, I believe he put that bumper on and got a touch of sag...I forget his username. It's a red one...

Really? I'm parked out by my buddy's bike shop on Miller all the time. Guess I need to figure out how to make it stand out more....

Thanks for the info. I figured it would cause some sag. I'll either go with the aluminum version from Relentless or All-Pro and run the factory suspension, or wait until they wear out and then replace them with Kings/ICONS with a heavier spring.

    Thanks!

I really love the look of this. Such a nice stance. Making me rethink my set up.

A few updates from this week.

    First, added a Leer 10XL.

Then yesterday added a roof top tent (I wish there was a way to make this thing look more streamlined up there...), on-board air, and quick fists for an axe.

How much of a lift would you say you got with the TRD setup?

I know this is old, just wanted to compliment your truck. It’s exactly what I’m going for. I have the same model 13’ TxPro, Same color. I got the color matched paint for the rear bumper and front grill. I’m taking it to the 4x4 shop today for tires and suspension. I hope you don’t mind that I’m going to use your truck as a reference for how I want to look. I’m still on the stock BFG Rugged Trail tires. I’m at 48,000 Miles . They are getting pretty bad so I’m thinking Ko2’s. . I really dig your setup

Is there exposed hardware on the outside of the shell where you mounted your axe?

Thanks man. No, not at all. Glad you like it.

Im thinking I might go with the new KM3’s when they come out depending on how the reviews go. In particular with noise levels.

    Good luck with the mods.
