    See my follow up post after that where I explain that I was incorrect and only the single 1:1 gear has input/output speeds the same. Just a mistake on my part that I tried to clarify later on in the thread.

    Rock steady. Lots of tongue weight with the axle being where it is and the lack of a motor to counter balance it a little.

    why do yall think the auto is rated at 6800lb and the manual 6500lb?? seems backwards to me.

    It varies across all the trim levelels, cab and drive train configurations. According to the brochure my TRD DC OR 4x4 MT is rated at 6400lbs and so is the same truck with an auto. The TRD DC OR 4x2 auto is rated at 6700lbs.
