Mine has worked great for the last year or so. I bought the wheelers brake line kit, but decided not to use the lines because I was concerned about getting the metal line out if the OE rubber line. I did use the wheelers banjo bolt with double copper washers between the caliper and line. I know it's not ideal, and I only ment for it to be temporary. However, you know how life goes, if it ain't broke, leave it be. I stood on the pedal as hard as I could and it has not leaked. I am using OE 07 Sequoia 13wl calipers though, not aftermarket.

You might be able to use different grades of sand paper and smooth out the surface around the matings surface on the caliper.

20161029_140401.jpg Thats how i did mine. You drill the center out a liitle bit to fit over the tapered seat on caliper. I also shortened it about 1 thread with a file.

I used the Wheeler's lines and aftermarket calipers. Worked great and hasn't leaked. I didn't know there were this many people who have had issues with leaks.

Might just be my calipers not having a smooth surface for the washers.

Not sure you need to shorten the stock bolt. This is the first I've heard anyone doing that before.

My copper washers weren't real thick ones. I only removed 1 thread.

    Gotcha. That would make sense.

FYI to anyone doing this, make sure you blow out all the metal shavings

My local brake supplier made custom flexible lines with the correct fitting on each end for about $50. Solved the problem the right way.

Good price! Are they DOT approved?

I doubt very much that the DOT would approve of me using brakes designed for one truck in another truck. I didnt bother to ask them about my lines.
