Stock tires I get 420 miles per tank.
Bigger tires and lift will hurt MPG

I've got the same size tires, same chassis and a Leer canopy. I get 16-18 hwy

Try slowing down a little? :notsure:

What ive found with my truck is that anything over 60-65 the mileage really takes a nosedive.

This. I drive a lot of highway miles. If you can set the cruise at 65 and chill you'll get the best mpg. 70 mph and above and it goes downhill fast. I'm always between 70 and 75 and average just over 17 mpg. If I keep it at 65 (which is never) I can break 20 mpg.

4 inch lift - complete blackout, n-fab step bars, Black Horse bull bar, 20 inch light bar, anytime fog lights, added led day running lights, Fuel wheels and Falken Wildpeak tires ,custom fit seat covers, Gatorback mud gaurds
285/70/17 tires, 4 inch lift and a heavy foot gets me about 12.5-14 mpg.

I pretty much average about 17.3, that's back and forth to work 16 miles 1 way.. Little bit of highway. If I pay attention I can get a little better. 265/70/17 tires. ive noticed on highway, if I get up over 65, mileage drops.. if I stay under, it gets pretty good. interstate at 75+ gets terrible.

The same shit everyone else has.
Mid 16 MPGs mixed driving with a lift and 285s.

Give the thing a good tune up and try slowing down and driving like an old man. It’ll help.

And I cruise at about 80, no heavy accererations though.

I wish I could buy a true factory-like option for my existing 2nd gen that gave me Miles To Empty. How hard could it have been for Toyota to install a trip computer in this truck?

I got an aftermarket one, but I have to resent it when I fill up, and I always forget. But I am getting around 17mpg, which is the good news.

Well I’m glad I’m not the only one averaging 14ish. Looks like that’s the way it’ll stay I’ve never been a fan of the right lane....
