Stock 4 popper, stick, AC 4x4. 265/70/17 getting 19.75. The 245/75/16 stock steelies. were at 19.5, I figure it's close to the same considering the correction.

I noticed that if I fill up before it hits a quarter to an eighth of a tank my mileage calculation is worse by 1-2 mpg.

    Too few to list.
I just switched to 275/70R17's with load E tires carrying about 85 lbs per corner. I'm seeing 17.6 mixed. With 265/75R16 and about 69 lbs per corner, I average about 18.5 and can hit 22 going 70. I do 300 mile one way trips all the time.

I have a 2011 TRD Sport Access Cab 4×4 V6 manual. All stock. Bed cover, no cap. Been tracking mileage for six months, about as long as I've owned the truck. My driving is about 50% City, 50% Highway. My stats are:

    Min. MPG: 10.9
    Ave. MPG: 15.2
    Max. MPG: 18.7
    Total Miles: 6,048
    Total Gallons: 397.4
    Miles On Truck: 33,561
Multiplier to Correct ODO Error: 1.0410959 (ODO shows ≈ 96 miles for every 100 miles traveled.)

Edited to correct the City/Highway percentage estimate.

I've never averaged less than 14.55 with armor. It depends on driving style and the terrain/type of road you drive.

I'm running 265/70/16 and i get 14mpg (city) which really stinks considering its my daily driver.

No armor. I do have CAI, but I got this kind of mileage stock, off the lot. From the looks of this thread, that doesn't seem normal...:help:

I work out my mileage by hand every tank. With a various mix of city and highway l get betweem 14 - 16mpg. But I'm surrounded by hills.
lf l do almost all highway. I've gotten as high as 20. But that's was on smaller highways going about 55mph with some gradual hills mixed in there.
My lifetime average of all my driving is right around 16 mpg.
    I'm okay with that

Something to try. On the highway my truck gets better mpg not using CC. Try to drive with your foot keeping the tranny from down shifting all the time like it will do when in CC. In CC my truck down shifts constantly using more gas.

    2.5" lift w/35's
How do you guys get such bad milage? I have 315/70r17 and with my truck fully loaded with camping gear 4 people and a dog at 70-80mph on the freeway I was getting 15.8mpg. Unloaded I get about 16 but when I'm unloaded I drive with my foot to the floor half the time.

I can manage 19mpg pure highway in my truck, based on some recent trips (with AC blowing). But as soon as I include ANY city driving, then the mpg drops to around 14-16. I don't have a lift, tires are stock size, about 100lb in armor, 50lb in gear, and a 200lb driver.

When I got my truck brand new with stock tires whatever size they put on a 17 inch rim. I would get about 330 miles on one full tank of gas. After upgrading my tires and putting a 2 inch lift on my truck I have lost about 40 miles Off of what I had with stock on the truck. Compared to what I have now I average about 285 miles on one full tank of gas

I'm lifted 6" running 33x12.5x20. 12 inch wide wheel. Mostly highway driving I pull a magnificent 12mpg... maybe. Either regear or look away when you pull into the gas station ‍♂️

12mpg in Hawaii of all places. Ouch. At least you're admitting the mods are the cause of the MPG drop. Some people on this site would swear the mods have zero impact on gas mileage lmao.
