14.7 MPG Highway - 17.7 MPG City....How??

    Mine is totally stock too. When I fill my up at first click. I get in it it says 375 miles to empty. I usually get to around 435 miles on tank of fuel sometimes little more or little less. This time of year it is couple miles gallon less. So this time year Im around 22 mpg.

    I don't understand how this thread is still going. It's not that fucking hard. Stick your hand out the window doing 20-45mph. Hold it vertically and feel the wind resistance, hold it flat, see how it slices through. Go get on the highway and stick your hand out the window and do the same thing. Your hand should be able to create lift, create drag and if you hold it vertically, be pushed back. Same thing with taking off your factory aerodynamic bumper and putting on something that's designed to destroy trees and whatever else it runs into. Off-road bumpers are very rarely designed to be aerodynamic. Move enough wind against it, it creates drag. Drag creates inefficiency.
