Just put a 2" spacer up front and AAL in the rear of my 14' TRD Double Cab. Install was smooth... no issues... truck sits really nice..... alignment is perfect... no vibes at all. Here's the problem..... at lower speeds I can hear a growling / humming noise cycling through.... seems like the CV or front diff? You cannot hear or feel it at highway speeds and it goes away when truck is put in 4WD. I've read here that the diff bushing could be the problem? The truck only has 14K on it and there was no noise prior to lift. I really don't want to pull the lift out but I'm not going to listen to that noise forever. I should mention I did try spacing the carrier bearing with no change.

    Thanks!

If it is the front diff bearing, you can get a kit to replace it with a better fitting bushing.

Or you could try draining the front diff some and adding a thickener like the PowerPunch Extreme Gear Additive. Might help take up the a slack.

Thanks for the replies. I went conservative with the lift hoping I'd get lucky. I'm going to yank it out and wait until she gets a bit older and do a complete lift.

That bearing goes out in stock tacos, do the lift and fix the bearing with the bushing from eastcoast gear supply it's 100$ fix with the tool

Just to update and finish the thread... yanked out the lift last nite. vereything works fine now.... growling....huming gone. I am quite surprised such a small lift would cause problems. I have done 3 - 2" lifts on Honda Ridgeline's with no problems after 100K out on post lift. Front end assembly's are pretty similar!
