3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
I'd actually run 14 wide wheels rather than spacers. That's just me though. Tons of people out there that run spacers i know, I just wont run em.

A lot of tire to turn, and stop, so say good bye to your brakes too. This is just a bad idea. You're gonna kill that truck. 3" suspension and 3" body will create a ton of body roll, so you'll wear the body lift pucks through the sheet metal on the cab. You'll need 3-1/4" backspacing or a 3/4" spacer to even come close to the tires clearing the frame or as mentioned have shit for a turning radius. You're gonna wear out ball joints, bushings, and suspension components, and wait til you have to sink $400 into a new steering rack.

Not to mention your ride will be shit with a spacer and an add a leaf. So when all is said and done, you'll have a truck that sucks to drive, is worn out from bad suspension geometry and gets shit gas mileage, good luck with reselling it

The truck has a ton of miles on it so I wasn't wanting to sink even more money than I have into it. Basically Everything but the motor is new. Maybe I'll just stick to the 12 wides and sink my money into a motor swap instead. Thanks guys for all the info!

I don't wanna bash you, it's your truck, do what makes you happy, but there is a ton that goes into it if you wanna lift it, to the point where it can get dangerous or leave you with a lot of problems. I'm at 275,000 miles, so it may surprise you, if the motor is running well it likely will for a long time to come.

WHAAAA? You're gonna put a diesel in it? Wow. I don't know where to go with this, but you sure as hell don't wanna put a spacer lift in it or put it on 14's. That diesel will be too much weight. Seriously, you don't have much money to proper suspension setup, but you can afford a diesel swap. I suspect you to be on the drugs darlin

Wow a diesel.swap!!?? Hell yes!! But like laxtoy said youll do a 4bt swap but wanna skimp on the suspension? If you do the 4bt (which would be my dream swap) then a SAS would most definitely have to occur!!!

Lol youll be 30k deep in no time!

Will you be my girlfriend??? I have two more tacomas to add to the pot! You can use one of mine while we do the SAS and 4bt swap!

I'm saving for the diesel and have already talked to a shop about it all. The bigger lift was more of something that ran through my head but the 4bt will at some point deffinitely be in the future

To each their own. I'd rather put a 4bt in a 80 series land cruiser, but that's just me, then you already have lockers, solid axles, and the drivetrain plus the room in the engine compartment.

I was referring to the suspension work(SAS) and the motor swap and a lil exaggeration there with the 30k. Just seems like once ya start with the mods they dont stop if ya know what i mean... with all that plus labor 30k wouldnt be outta the realm though....unfortunately, haha

I bet just for the 4bt itd end up being 15k all said and done with though. Then just for the sake of being totally awesome and bad ass to the bone youd have to SAS that sweet thing!! Another 15k easy on a nice setup. You get to 30k real easy and one couldnt just stop there, the cycle would continue haha.
