    hey guys I just want to here some thoughts of what my truck could really run on the track if the money and time has been put in to it. it did a 15.4 sec 1/4 mile run. just want to know what you guys think its potential is? p.s. my truck is a 6 spd man prerunner

    For some idea.....Your prerunner probably won't do as well as the X Runners do...but you can see the possibilities.
    The other part of that is "the time and money"- If you mean a reasonable amount and keeping a streetable truck- you aren't going to be dragster fast- but if you wanna build a track monster- you can do pretty good things-for a lot of cost.

    I am really looking for a 13 sec truck that drops jaws, the x runners are a 1k pounds lighter than mine so I know I wont be able to go as far as I want

    lots
    throw on a s/c, intake, headers, and exhaust, and youll have that 13 seconds truck. i almost made it to the 13s without the s/c , could have done it but just lost interest in the truck.

    you can get it to 13's, but not without an s/c of some sort.

    How are the X-runners 1000 pounds lighter? According to Toyota the X-runner is 5 pounds lighter than a Prerunner V6 6-spd (Prerunner 3810 pounds, X-runner 3805 pounds).

    Even a regular cab, 4x2, 4cyl 5spd is 3250 pounds.

    my I did not event know that my truck was that light, Just got the wrong numbers.
