Thanks for your input on the warranty. Yeah, I'll be running up against the 3yr part of this deal real quick if I pull the trigger. Funny that you can get a better warranty on a used vehicle than new in this case.

Do you think another $1400 for the warranty with a $100. deductible on all the other stuff is a wise investment ?

For reference I just purchased a certified 15 AC 4x4 TRDOR with 10k for 28k 2 months ago. I'd be surprised if it's still available at that price.

Wouldn't be worth it to me...when I bought my new Taco in July, I did get the 8 year, 100,000 warranty from Toyota, but paid under $900 for it...and I do not believe it has any deductible.

Wow..... unbelievable huh ? The dealer keeps justifying his price by telling me how well these trucks hold their value.... of course until he gives me a price on mine as a trade in. :annoyed:

Yeah, they had mine listed at 29995. I was the first to look at it and had to fight like hell to get them down to 28.

    No kidding !
It's been two full years of the same ol' same ol' and the secretive '18's will be rolling out shortly with (I'll bet) no significant fixes. Who wants to shift smoothly and predictably when you can have leather seats instead ? Oiiiy..... Kinda like resting on ones laurels...

I bought my 15 DCLB SR5 4x4 new for 30k in Nor Cal. You have a sport there.

6k miles is new. If the carfax and flood check pan out, grab it. Many people would kill to snap this up rather than a 3rd gen.

I've almost hit 7k miles on my '15 DCSB. I'm coming up on 200k on my '02 Xtra Cab though. In my defense, I commute four or five times a year and it usually involves an airplane and my trucks are basically toys.

OP, around here (PNW) that truck probably would have gone at its original asking price.
