Had a fun day doing lots of things to the rig. How much you think all that crap I was not using and was in my way all the time in the back weights?

Got the rear all emptied out so I can wedge an ARB fridge in. :muscleflexing:

Did the coolio small D-rings on the back mod, put them on both sides on all the hatch bolts, figured why not. Can not have to many.:cookiemonster:

Added an axe to my daily carry rack. Blacked it out just like the shovel so it looks bad ass. :spy:
Just harder to see them really when they just blend into the back of the truck, makes them not stand out.

You got it! Doing tons to the rig in the next little while for that adventure, but doing it early so we can test it out at Ardbeg and VMUTS.

Frig yea! It lives in the truck

The only time it has come out of the truck is on road trips it comes into the dinner at lunch or out on the table at the chip stand when we stop, so we can look closer together at we will be doing next!@

Got to love getting mail eh? I swear during my ordering it was a package everyday. I finally have everything I think, just need to install it lol.

Also try out that loo before taking it in the field. Not suggesting to actually use it but take it for a dry run. I’m glad I did because in a emergency it would have been shocking. I barely fit on the thing, so had to work out a system lol.

Yea I sat on it in the living room and the wife was like :angrygirl:

I said it is a huge step up from squatting in the woods and she agreed. Just have to give it all few good try outs this year before we go on the real adventure :cookiemonster:

Yep garbage bags and cat litter just like you said. Sounds like the best plan of action.

I think I went a bit overboard on the water containers, but I dont want to be short on water so 2 x 7 gallon was the option.

For gas I am thinking 3 x 25L at cnd tire. I think I need more than 60L.

Can’t go over board in my opinion. With water it’s one of those things right. I’ll have two 20L containers and 80L of fuel. I’ll also carry some smaller jugs of water that will be in my fridge.

Soon as the weather starts warming up here I can actually start making my rig for the back end, to keep everything in one place with out a bed rack :cookiemonster:

Just some basic bed frame's cut and weld lots round eye loops to so I can use ratchet straps to hold everything in place. The plano cases and all liquids.

2 different racks, that attach to each other if I want to use them both. The liquids rack at the back against the tailgate will be modular so I can use 1 or all the jugs if I want.

    Something like this.

You could get some of the aircraft tiedowns. http://www.uscargocontrol.com/Ratchet-Straps-Tie-Downs/Airline-Straps-Hardware

I’ll be using this all over the place. It’s aluminum, so it’s light and won’t rust. Plus the amount of accessories are endless. If your fine with drilling your bed this could be an option.

When the budget has room, that will be a new idea and awesome.

Free bed frames are in the budget right now :spending:
