So I’ve been looking at retouching my wheels, can’t decide between going with a powder coat on 1999 stock 15 inch wheels (grey anthracite or gloss black) or buying new wheels.
The powdercoating is cheap ($75 X 4 = $300) but difficult to schedule since I only have the one set of wheels and it’s my daily driver so I have to leave the pickup on blocks while they are coated.
The problem with the new wheels is the cost ( about $150 X 4 = $600) and I’m struggling to find wheels that advertise the width that fit the tires I have (Have tons of tread left) BFG KO2

Also I’m going to add some pictures soon to get an idea what I’m thinking, thanks for any suggestions and thoughts!

Alternatively you could just rattle can them in about a day, but your results will not be nearly as clean as if you powdered them. I had the same plan but honestly now I'm kind of digging the alloy look. However the grey anthracite choice has me thinking
