Are you sure about the 1/4" drip tubing? It might work for the door seal, but the cab seal is smaller. If you used the poly 1/4" drip tubing there, I believe the door would be hard to close. That drip line is stiff compared to the latex the guy in the Ford video used. He used 3/8", but that is too large for the Tacoma cab seal. ???

Wait. Don't use poly. Use rubber 1/4" drip hose

    Thanks.
But, I have read the entire thread and I see the 1/4 "drip tubing is referenced being used in the door seal. I do not see a size or type tubing mentioned for the cab seal. Unless I missed something.

    I see what you mean.

I am pretty sure the 1/4" hose will work for the cab seal as well. The concept is to make the seals "stiffer" when closing the door, you can do the 1/4" hose in the cab seal, or the door seal.

I plan on doing both, if possible.

This pretty much sums it up.

I suggest waiting a few days for @rottenpixies to reply and confirm 1/4" drip hose on the cab seal

I also plan on doing both. I have the "kazoo" wind noise caused by the door seal as well as the plastic door panels buzzing and rattling. There is practically no seal between the door panels and the cab seal. If you close the door on a piece of paper, it will almost fall out in places. Since the strickers are not adjustable, beefing up the cab seal seems to be the only fix. I keep hearing that a TSB (revised seals) is coming, however it never seems to materialize.

The drip hose fished inside the cab seal didn't help. I think it made it worse so I ended up taking it out. I've resigned to just turning music up loud while I'm on the highway. Eventually I might bring it to a body shop to see if they can adjust the door to make it a tighter seal. Love the truck besides the sound of wind gushing into the door!

1/4" drip hose seems a little too thick for the cab seal. It might not compress enough when the door is closed (especially on the window frame part), causing the door seal to be looser. That's probably why it made the problem worse. I am trying to figure out something to put in the cab seal that will easily compress down to slightly less than 1/8" and maybe using 5/16" EPDM rubber tubing in the door seal if it will fit without a lot of trouble.

Keep us posted! Would love if someone somewhat universal solution to the wind noise! Literally sounds like my window is cracked, so much that it makes me more sane to just crack it a bit and let wind come in. Not so great in the winter though!

I took my 2015 DCSB in yesterday, and was told they now have a TSB on the kazoo wind noise. They ordered the weatherstrip for both front doors, and made an appointment to install next week. I'll post results.

When you get it fixed (hopefully) post the TSB number please. That way I can bitch at my dealer and have them fix it for free.

Actually, I do have the TSB number already! It is TSB 0170-16, and my appointment for it's installation is tomorrow morning. I'll try to get some pictures of it before they put them on. I don't know if it's a complete new door seal, or just an add-on piece of rubber. The suspense is killing me!

Look at the date of the release, December 2, 2016. Might be too new to be online.IMG_2114.jpg My scanner isn't cooperating tonight, had to take picture of it. They replaced both front door seals. Not sure if it's a new design seal or a more careful installation of the original type. Looks like part numbers on the first page. The thing is 7 pages long, just instructions any ape could follow.
