My wife is letting me spend 1500 bones for my birthday on my truck. I have 08 double cab OR and it is pretty much bone stock besides the 265/75/16 BFG AT's i put on it a few months ago. Any suggestions on what I should do with the money to upgrade it?

Yeah I was looking at that but all the crap I have read on here about people with vibrations is steering me away from a 3" lift. Plus my truck will look like a roller skate because I won't be able to get bigger wheels.

I am interested in the Iron Man lift but it doesn't seem like there is much experience with it.

how much do the TRD superchargers cost? that might be a cool option if you wanted to spend some big money.

lol...no I was thinking more along the lines of a small lift and some wheels. I guess I could always sell my tires and get bigger ones.

Are you saying mine looks like it's on roller skates? :spy: (265/75/16 as well)

Altho yes..I was scared about the vibrations too..but its easily fixed with shims under the leaves and washers on top of the carrier bearing..i have none to begin with so thats the worst that can happen. :D

Coilovers would let you adjust the ride height, set it at 2 inches now, you wouldn't need upper control arms yet. Get 33's down the road and jack it up another inch.

No sir, for adjustable co's you will want to look at King, Icon, All-Pro, ect.

Shell gets my vote. I priced a snug top rebel for mine. Came in at $1495.

Dont do spacers, if that what your were looking at. OME or 5100's is the way to go. For 1500.00 in all honesty, OME is the way to go. I am only speaking as a person that has researched it for over a year. I talked my buddy into Icons, AAL, and TC UCA's for three times the money and the OME is STILL the way to go for that amount of cash. IMHO

Are you talking about the OME kit for $735 or 5100 kit for $650?

Who doesn't love roller skates? It doesn't look that bad. I didn't have any vibrations with mine. All I did was the carrier bearing drop and LR UCA's.
