I'm taking a 20' pole that has an 18" LED strip on the top, will have that up in the air before sundown on Friday. It's multi color but I'll be damned if I remember what colors exactly :bananadead:

Great. I'll be sure to bring $ingles. Maybe some quarters if Colton takes the stage.

 And just like that---my triangle aren't shit.

What does it attach to? A big hill blocks the road from the camp. Its the nice part but also the shitty part. You won't be able to see a 20' pole from camp until you are right on camp.

if it's closer to the "entrance" to the cove it should be visible, no?

Mike... What time do you guys think you're going to arrive at camp? I know you're taking trails there with Colton and some others. I'm going to take the direct route we used last time and try to get out there by late afternoon.

Not really. You can see it from the mountain side or maybe leaving. But the 'homeplate' of the cove is pointed right at the corner of wheeler. I've bombed up there and seen 20+ rvs and trucks and had no clue. You have to get up the hill enough to peak the led above. The backstop has a low spot. So if the pole was there you could see it from the corner of wheeler. If you look at this picture the toyhauler and truck are inline with wheeler about 1/4 past or so. If you put it at the edge people would have to know to look past. You will pass camp on wheeler and have to turn about 135 degrees to the left. If it isn't mounted to a truck and can be moved up the hill it will work great.

Yeah... Don't think I will be able to leave that early. I plan to work a half day and leave at around 12:00-1:00. I'll see you guys at camp. :D

What exit do I take off I-8? Also, what is the name of the road I turn left on to get to camp? I was following you guys last year and don't recall...

8-dunaway-evan hughes (right) -Huff (left) -wheeler(left turns to dirt) is the most direct route..

8-drew-evan hughes (left ) -huff (right)- wheeler (left turns to dirt). If you take this way it is about 5 miles further but the corner of drew and evan hughes is a market in the town of seeley. It has gas, food, taco shop, beer, etc.

@Titus94 needs to up his game to the real deal poles, no more of these midget poles.

Now that I have a Bestop I can't put it in the bed as easily, so I just rachet strap it a few feet lower to the driver front wheel of the truck.

It straps to the wheel of my (or anyones) truck (or SxS, anything with a battery) so we can park my truck wherever to set it up, as long as me & my icechest can get a ride back to camp with one of you degenerates.

Cool. Its not far at all. Too far to leave your cooler, but not bad. I've parked up there many times as a marker.
