    We lucked out that day because it was still cold out.

    So obviously where we camped would not be a good place to go but the burning hillside that is not so burning anymore is off limits to foot traffic or? I know GH is offlimits to such
    Traffic... but ill eagle is a bird about as big as my wingspan so... thats about the only thing illegal is really

    Correct. Technically where we were is a "no-mans-land" between the towns. Still, not a place I'd camp solo.
