I wanted to get my 07 TRD Sport painted a different color at 10 years 100k... but here we are at year 15 and 168k and finally got it done. I looked for a long time through thousands of pics over the last 15 years for before photos of my truck, particularly some from 2021 and 2022. There wasn't many. I totally forgot to get a before picture when I dropped it off to get painted.

Mods: Pro Comp 16" series 32 wheels(new), MT baja boss 265/70R16 (new), Bushwacker flares(new), WP front and rear bumpers(2016), N-fab boards(New), leveled with bilstein 5100(2019), TRD pro style grill(New)

The bumpers were quite rusted since their 2016 install, the rear much worse than the front. They did what they could with the sandblasting and I had a bedliner coat put on them.

That looks amazing. I plan on doing something similar with my truck around the 10-15 year mark. It’s great to see someone else who’s done it.

Do you mind if I ask what the cost was to repaint the entire truck?

Make sure to address the frame rust next. Seems to be pretty extensive from the engine splash shield and tow hitch.

A tad under 10K... to me, it was cheaper than buying a used one in better condition... the work on the bumpers alone saved me over 2k had i got new ones. He did everything except a couple areas under the hood.

I ordered some fluid film, I'll do what i can with a wire brush, a rinse and dry, then coat it. Was hoping for another 10 years out of the frame... I guess i could push it to more if i put in some extra work. My guess is the motor outlasts the frame lol
