Hey has anyone else had problems balancing these wheels? I got them put on some Yokohama ATS 265/70/16's(recomended tire size for truck). After 4,000 miles had a lot of vibration, took them back to have them rebalanced. Two were 1oz off, one was 3oz off, and the other was 9oz off. They had the tape weights on them, ended up using them and some regular weights on the inside. Anyone have any thoughts? They tired to say the wheel was bent, I haven't taken the truck off road or hit anything, so I know it is not bent.

I had balancing issues with 16x8 black steel wheels from Wheeler's. Don't recall just how far out they were, but they wouldn't balance worth a shit. The guys at the tire shop showed me on their computer screen that they were out of round when I went back after the initial mount and balance. It was so bad that I couldn't stand to drive on them and didn't want my tires to get eaten up. They were brand new and had never been 'wheeled, so I know that if they were bent, they showed up at my doorstep that way. Being the nice guy that I am, I chocked it up to a fluke on the production line and ordered two replacements. Both of the replacements balanced just fine. If I remember correctly, Pro Comp manufactures those for Wheeler's...

Yea Pro Comp makes those wheels. I have had both and havent had any problems with mine. The first set were the steelies that I had on for almost 2 years and the second set (ones I have now) have been on for 1 1/2 years.

Okay so I put these wheels on back in June of 2010, now by the end of January, one has a lot of rust on it, and the others are discolored, very dull.

    Rusting in only 7 Months??

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestion? Notice the dull paint on the top, all of the other center Caps look like that.

    Thanks,
    Nic
