16" rims for '99 Tacoma - help

    Need some new, bigger rims for my '99 Tacoma, base 2WD. It has 5 lug 14" factory rims. Thought I'd stick with Toyota rims and found some nice 2005 16" Toyota rims online, also 5 lug. But, the 16s are not off of a Tacoma. Do I need to worry about the bolt pattern or will any 5 lug Toyota rim fit my '99 Tacoma? Thanks,

    bolt pattern will work for most imports (5x114.3mm or 5x4.5in)

    what you have to worry about is the hub size. the 1st Gen has a larger hub size than most '03+ cars and is larger than the 2nd Gen hub.
