    Hello Tacoma Peeps,
I have a 3rd gen 2016 Tacoma with 152 000miles. I bought it with a 145k. It was service and maintained up until I bought it by a Toyota dealer.
Just recently I notice a vibration on initial acceleration or when acceleration from a dead stop, I am also getting what is called the rumble strip vibration quite often now as well. I check the u joints and the carrier bearing ,everything seems fine. Can a bad tyranny be causing this vibration . Truck has no codes. . I am expected to do a transmission fluid change this weekend. Any ideas.

    Thank you
    Chet

My guess would be the carrier bearing in the middle of the driveshalft or a u-joint going bad. Go under the truck and shake the driveline by them and see if they are loose.
