Well, personally, I prefer the "look" of 17" wheels. However, as others have mentioned, there's benefits to both sizes.

Historically, I'm a city boy, so if I'm being honest, I used to prefer 18" and 20" wheels... :crapstorm:

However, after coming to TW, I saw the errors of my previous ways and have been converted to the non-donk side.

This is the exact reason why I went to 17" wheels. The tires I wanted only came in C-load with the 17"s. Lighter combination package overall, I still get 18-19mpgs with 33s and full armor.

    Like, so many.
17s will offer a (minimally) better on road experience.

Note that Costco won't put tire sizes on that aren't spec'd on your door tag. The will put tires on wheels that are off a vehicle though. I fought them on that one time. If it only says 265/70, they won't do 265/75.

16 inch wheels are a limitation when talking about a big brake kit. I personally run 255/85r16, but 35's and a big brake kit are in my near future so I'm looking at 17's.

@thedriza yea I’m not lifting it. Gonna run Just under 32s. Not upgrading brakes so I’m just curious if anyone has any experience in looks w the ray10s in 17 or 16 on 265/70/17 and 265/75/16.

going w the slightly bigger tire and not lifting it. Both tires clear fine enough w the appropriate wheel
