    I ordered a Toytec 3" Lift for my 2010 Access Cab 4x4 SR5 4cyl this evening.

I wish to have 33" ( 285/75/16) tires on this vehicle so I went ahead and called 4wheelparts to order a set of 16x8 (4.50 backspacing ) Helo Maxx wheels. The salesperson told me to go with 17's because the aftermarket 16" wheels require modification to fit like grinding of the rotors.

Will aftermarket 16x8 w/ 4.5 backspacing fit on my truck?

4wheelparts has proven time and time again that they don't know what they are talking about, so I wouldn't worry about it. They will tell you that no 16's fit on our trucks. That's just not true.

There are a few wheels that require a little grinding of the brake caliper to fit (most do not). It's a case by case basis. Best is to look around here to find members that have 16's, then ask them if they had to grind the caliper or not.

I have found a wheel that I like even more. Could someone please tell me if the ATX Artillery will fit on my 2010 Tacoma 4x4?

    Here are the specs:

    16x9 ( Size )
    -12 ( Offset )
    4.53 ( Backspace )
    6x139.7 ( Bolt Circle )

    Thank you for the bump.

I was told that the Artillery would not work by a local shop. I'm too afraid to take any chances.

I really like the look of the KMC Enduro Beadlocks ( Desert ) they said these would work in a 16x8. Has anyone heard different.

    Thank you in advance
