My 2013 now has about 165,000km. She's raised about 3' in the front and 2' in the rear. Overall, she's been pretty good to me so no real complaints! She goes up to the ski hill a lot in the winter so rusting parts has been a bit of a problem (cam bolts), but the frame is good shape.

I did a bunch of maintenance on her at 100,000km. Replaced all fluids & iridium spark plugs.

OEM Baja TRD 6112 Shocks have 155,000 km on them (broken springs replaced 4 years ago). They still seem fine! 5100's in the back are only 6 years old and have about 90k km.

Just got JD Fab UCAs installed a couple weeks ago.

On Monday, I'm getting the needle bearing replaced with the ECG Bushing, new inner and outer tie rods as they are too rusted to work anymore and my shop is trying to figure out which wheel bearing(s) are humming...

Just wondering as gets older, what sort of major/common things will become an issue that will need attention/replacing/fixing? Is there anything I should fix/replace before it becomes an issue, or just fix things as they come?

    Thanks!

For me, it depends partly on rust. I tend to break a few bolts each time I work on my truck, so preventive maintenance could sometimes be a good idea. Might as well replace a few parts while in a certain area as well. I dropped $10K, mostly in parts over the last 2 years, starting at about 200K km. Not much before that. I must of done at least 50K km on gravel roads, usually high speed and loaded (not me, the truck) which is hard on lotsa parts. Here's a rough list on what was done with date, km's and parts. Presently, trucks purrs like a kitten, no vibes and hoping for a 30K until additional work which will probably be idler wheels, possibly alternator, and thinking of changing AC compressor as preventive maintenance.

You fix as you go, 100,000 miles/160,000 isnt much, but we start to see leaks, and suspension wear.

You're already on top of it, so not much to worry about.

My 12' now has 230K . Around the beginning of Summer I took it to the dealer to have the serpentine belt changed , the last oil change the guy said it was looking a little worn. As I was leaving , I asked the service guy what else I should do due to the high mileage , he said keep an eye on the fluids and thats about it. Ive been very fortunate with this truck , brake pads and rotors , oil changes and shocks is all the money ive spent on maint.

I had my entire front suspension rebuilt when I lifted it at 220,000. OEM LCA, Ball joints, swaybar links, Element UCA Uniball, Tie Rods Outer. New CV Boots on original CV Axles.
Other than brakes and Oil changes.
Drain and fill at 140k, full Trans Flush at 150K, drain and fill at 240k with new Filter and clean pan.
Carrier Bearing at 240k with new U-Joint.
U-Joint near Rear Shaft where it meets the Pinion on the rear axle 240K
    Coolant flushes dont recall mileages
Front and rear Diff, T-Case fluid at 130k and 240k
    Fuel pump at 130K
    Plugs at 150k
    Water Pump 120K
These trucks are solid, maintain them.

Just fix them as they come. Lube all of your U-Joints if you're 4x4, do some Transmission Drain and fills, Change your coolant and service your differentials this should get you up to speed, also 5K mile oil changes none of that 10K mile BS. You also might want to get regular fluid film on your frame if you drive a lot in the snow.
