I had a CJ-5 on 35s way back when. Took a 25 year hiatus and am back to it with a fucking limo. I love the challenge

Last year there was a guy who drove 8 hours to get to Rausch (@Rod03). He has a TRD Pro, no sliders, and followed me all the way through topless for tatas with no issues.

No having said that, first time at an offroad park is overwhelming. The green trails will seem intimidating at first. The good news is that you will be riding with the same truck that you have, and will pick up pretty fast how to follow the line of the guy (or gal) in front of you.

Come up, have fun, and wheel at your own pace. There aren't any trophies at the end of the day (at least I never got one).

Greg got a taste of that as well. That's a shitty section of that trail. Other then that, love that area over there.

How do you remember this shit? I can’t even remember what trails we run at the end of the day.

It was pleasantly surprising how well he did that day.

What was that really tight trail with the big down hill ledge that we did last trip?
Mike slid right over that on the day you were talking about above.

o_O You guys need to take better lines. I ran 23 with sliders, stock skids, clapped out stock suspension on 32's with 0 issues.

23 is still my favorite in the park.

I think the biggest problem people have with blue trails is not asking for a spotter.

It's easy to lose your line, and that is where you run into issues.

Very true. 23 was my favorite for a long time but now it's 13. I very much enjoy 13 now.

There are plenty of lines to choose from in the rock garden on 23. But with anything less than 35s you will pretty much drage skids.
I no longer bother picking lines on blues. I just drive. :)
FWIW, Snakebite should be downgraded from a black to a blue. That was the most disappointing trail in the whole park.
