    I have a 2018 DCLB with a 2.25" Falcon lift and stock UCA's.

I will either be running 285/70/17 on 17x8.5" or 285/75/16 on 16x8" rims with I don't know offset.

Is one better than the other?

What will likely create the least amount of rubbing in these scenarios and least modifications?

-10 and -12 are pretty similar
With the 0 offset, you can always add wheel spacers if needed
(Some people will argue about the spacers wearing out wheel bearings... blah blah blah)

As far as whether to go 17 or 16 with the wheels... I think that’s more personal preference and what look you’re going for.

    Hope this helps!

    Here's a comparison:

First picture is with 285/75/16 on 16x8 wheels with 0 offset. It's tucked in a bit more and with flare trimming and pinchweld beat in, there was no rubbing.

The second picture is with 305/65/17 on 17x8.5 wheels with -10 offset. They are both around 33" tall but the 305 is obviously 20 mm wider. The wider tire on a wider wheel with -10 offset pushes it out more. This results in some minor rubbing on the body mount which would need the cmc done to get rid of. 285/70/17 would still stick out but 10 mm less. Ignore the fact that I flipped the image to be able to make a similar comparison.
