Haha. That's great. Do you still have the Speed6?

PS - The new wheels look good.

Do these require a different style lug nut?

Hi, yes, they need the conical seat with the couple mm of insert.

Got mine on today, really like them. Went with black lugs and also got the trd caps. Trying to get caps painted black and leave the trd red. We will see how that turns out.

I decided I'm going to paint my wheels either satin silver or gunmetal. I'll have to study these comparisons for a few days. I'm leaning towards gunmetal right now. Below (original black, gunmetal, silver)

Come to find out, the wheels look way better without center caps protruding from the center of the wheel since the wheel design kind of flows out from there. They look deeper and just flow better. Not to mention that the silver center caps are just too much in hindsight.

So, this Saturday- cut down center caps to be flush with the face of the rim and paint the caps black (hopefully preserving the red TRD....)

YES, so much better. The TRD caps look terrible. Same problem on the Level 8, ect. wheels that accept them.

Now you shouldnt paint them as it wont look as good with the black hub...or paint hub to match lol

My next step is to get black background red TRD center cap decals and some grey trim tape for the wheels' lips. This is a chop of where I want the wheels to end up when I'm done. It's a lot of work to do all of this to the wheels, but I think the end product will be custom and cool.

Good looking set up. I was considering these wheels but couldn't get past the center cap. I didn't want to risk a mod-gone-wrong, plus I got the similar RRW wheels on the pre sale. Are you still painting these?

Any of you guys running hub centric rings with these? Having some vibration issues since install, but balance and roadforce are good.

Did manage to get my caps painted to match and left the TRD red, but I do like the flush mount better.
