Thanks guys. All 17x8" Six Shooters are currently sold out. Per Konig, we are expecting graphite gunmetal and matte black to arrive to our warehouse by the end of this month (July). Many customers have already reserved their sets of the graphite gunmetal Six Shooters, so if you'd like a set I recommend contacting me directly ASAP : (951)735-1100 - office, FNWheels@gmail.com - email, or please PM me through the forum. It's possible that all of the graphite gunmetal wheels that we receive from the first shipment might be spoken for, but there will be a second and third shipment arriving between late-July and mid-August, so we should have everyone covered.

Matte black should be available without issue by the end of this month, barring any unforeseen shipping delays.

Thank you all for being patient while we re-stock the wheels. I am constantly placing stocking orders with Konig to try to keep up with the demand, but we've had a lot of demand from all over the world for the Six Shooters, especially in graphite gunmetal. It's just such a great looking wheel, particular on magnetic grey and super white Tacomas (but the graphite looks great on other colors too).

We're working on that option (ability to use a flat TRD cap). Not every wheel design can accept the flat cap and clear the axle covers on 4WD trucks. Sometimes you have to give up some of the concave / curvature of the spoke and make the center area thicker to give enough clearance, which changes the look of the wheel. We're in the process of testing this out with Konig right now. Please PM me for now if you guys would like more details.

Also, regarding the factory "TRD SEMA" wheels - please keep in mind that those wheels are only 7" wide. You won't be able to properly install 285/70R17 tires on them (in case that was something you were ever considering).

not looking to go big on the wheels. my truck is a month old and im not going to do any kinda of a lift in the near future. i have read through the comments and have decided that 265/70/17 will be the largest tire i will go with. so it was a toss up between the sema wheels and the six shooters. but i like the fact that the konigs stick out further due to offset. and will give the truck wheels a wider stance.

Totally understood. :) The styles of the Six Shooter and the TRD "SEMA Show" are pretty different too, so I'd say the final decision would also depend on whether or not you want the busier look of the TRD wheel or the simpler look of the Six Shooter.

I do like both wheels actually. Personally my choice would probably be based on whether I want the wider width and lower offset of the Six Shooters + the simpler design / different colors or if I wanted a more conservative fitment + a busier design such as the TRD wheel.

Toyota OEM TPMS sensors from your original wheels will work just fine, so long as your original wheels are alloy wheels.

Toyota uses a different sensor in their steel wheels that works only with Toyota OEM steel wheels (the sensors from Toyota OEM steel wheels won't work with even Toyota OEM alloy wheels).

If your truck has alloy wheels you can simply have the tire installer remove the sensors from your old wheels, service the sensors as needed (new rubber grommet, new washer, new nut), and install the sensors into the wheels.

If your Toyota truck came with steel wheels you have a couple options:

    • Reuse the TPMS sensors from the steel wheels by turning them around "backwards" so that they mount into an alloy wheel (I do not recommend this method, but many Toyota owners have had success doing this).
    • Order new Toyota OEM sensors, and have your truck reprogrammed to recognize the new sensor ID codes. You will need to go to a tire shop that has a TPMS programming tool (I have the tool at my shop here in Southern California, but I do need the truck to be present to program).
    • Order aftermarket, blank, programmable sensors and have the sensors programmed to replicate the ID codes from your steel wheels (I do recommend this method as the best option, and I can also get you high quality OEM grade programmable sensors). You will need to go to a tire shop that has a tool capable of copying your old sensor ID codes and writing them to the blank sensors (I have the tool, but again, I need your truck or at the minimum your sensors present).
Again, this information ONLY applies if your Toyota came with STEEL WHEELS (and it only applies to Toyota and Lexus vehicles, as no other manufacturer uses a different sensors in their steel wheels to my knowledge). This information also applies to ALL Toyotas changing from steel wheels to any alloy wheels (not just my wheels, not just aftermarket wheels, etc. but even Toyota OEM alloy). I'm sorry if I'm being redundant in some of these statements, but I have to stress these points, because in the past I've posted this information and no matter how I state it I've received calls from customers who skims my post and then calls me to ask why my wheels are different or why they can't use their OEM alloy wheel TPMS sensors (you can) with our wheels. I don't mind explaining the information to anyone at anytime, but I don't want anyone to think our wheels aren't compatible with TPMS sensors.

You betcha. Thanks for calling and providing the heads up. Would be cool to meet up in person but I can wait patiently as I'm still trying to figure out which way to go with my lift. Heading to SEMA in Nov so maybe talking to Icon and King guys direct will help me make up my mind.

No problem sir! We'll have your wheels in stock before the SEMA Show, but if you want to meet up in Vegas at the show give me a call. We haven't decided if we're going to attend for the full week this year, but I will probably be out there for at least one or two days.
