How does the stance/offset of the 17 x 8 compare to stock TRD sport rims? Quote for set of 4 shipped to 18211 please? All 3 colors available in 17 x 8?

Stock TRD Sport wheels are 17x7.5" +30mm offset.

17x8" Konig Six Shooter wheels are 0mm offset.

The Six Shooter will have a 1.43" wider stance vs. your stock TRD Sport wheels. This will really fill in your fenders nicely, since the stock wheels are pretty sunken inward. You'll also have much better suspension clearance.

All three colors will be available in 17x8", and we have a possibility for a new option for custom colors as well, but we'll know about the custom color option in a couple of weeks. ;)

I'd like to reiterate how great Dustin was and easy to deal with for getting these wheels. Ordered on Monday and got them by Thursday, which is way faster than I expected.

I got the 17x8's in graphite on 2013 MGM DCLB. I absolutely love them. Since I only have a few thousand miles on the stock tires, I just through them on there until I wear them out.

I'm having trouble deciding weather to go with an 8 inch or 9 inch width. From reading through this thread I think the 8 inch would suit me better cause it gives more options as far as tire sizes and in either "P" or "LT". Now OP correct me if I'm wrong, with an 8 inch wide rim I would be able to mount the stock Tacoma 265/65 17 as well as the LT 265/65 17 or the P 265/70 17 or LT 265/70 17. I'm not sure what size of tire I want to stick with and want to have a rim that allows me options. I do want to try a set of more aggressive 265/65 17 but want to be able to upgrade to the next larger size in the future.

17x8 I guess is my best bet. After doing some thinking I don't think I'll ever go to an LT..to much tire for my daily driver and light off road use. Thanks for some insight.

Has anyone had any issues what's so ever with vibrations from using these rims. I know Tacoma can be very picky with aftermarket wheels. Something about the Tacoma being hub centric or something. If anyone has insight please chime In.

Thank you very much, and you are very welcome! It was a pleasure doing business with you. :) I appreciate the Duck Dynasty photo too. Lol.

Thank you!!! Your truck looks great. The nice thing about the 17x8" is that it doesn't stretch the stock tires out, so it still looks really good, but has a more aggressive stance. I really like your choice of color combination.

:thumbsup::thumbsup: My favorite A/T tire. Looks badass!

17x8" would definitely be the best for you. You can mount up to a 305/70R17 on 8" wide wheels all day with no problems, and you can even do some 315/70R17 on 8" wide wheels. The popular size for 2.5" / 3" lifted Tacomas is 285/70R17, and that will work great on a 17x8" wheel as well. In the meantime, your 265s will fit perfectly.

None of my customers have reported any vibration issues, and we have not had any vibration on issues on any of our Toyota trucks personally.

We include push-thru center caps (which center the wheels onto the hubs) and hub centric rings (which are used to center the wheels if you do not install the caps) with every set of wheels. The lug journals are drilled extra deep to accommodate short Toyota wheel studs, so getting the wheels centered on the hubs is not a problem. You should not experience any vibrations. :)

17x8" all colors - should be back in stock very soon (this month)!

17x9" matte bronze - good in stock.

17x9" graphite gunmetal - one set in stock, on hold for a customer who left a deposit. I'm taking "back-up" orders for this set.

    None...yet!
Which rim would be the best fit, 17x9 or 17x8? I plan or running BFG A/T's 275/70/17, according to the specs of that tire size it says the rim width is 7-8.5". I know there's different backspacing for each wheel, but how will the two different wheel sizes effect the stance of the truck?

With a 275/70R17 tire you will be best off if you use the 17x8" Six Shooters.

The offset is the same between the two wheels (0mm for the 8" or 9").

The back spacing will be 4.5" for the 8" wide wheel and 5" for 9" wide wheel. You'll get .5" more suspension side clearance with the 8" (although there is no suspension clearance issues with the 9" wide wheel anyway, so that is not an issue).

Your outward stance will be .5" less with the 17x8" Six Shooter vs. the 17x9", but overall you will increase your outward stance by 1.5" - 2" vs. stock Tacoma wheels. The stance will still be aggressive with the 17x8's.
